March 2016 Faves
Hi loves! How’s your summer so far? ANG INEEEEETTTT!!! Diba? Right at this moment, I am in front of my laptop with my electric fan right beside me. As in pwede na kami magkapalit ng mukha! Even if I turn on the air conditioner, due to where my room is located, it still wont help. My laptop and most of my gadgets are hot but whatevz. I’m still going to blog. lol.
March for me flew by like a breeze. Imagine, Holy Week in March? Seriously? Lol. Aside from our annual Holy Week outings, I didn’t have much activities last month. I was mainly using the same stuff I’ve been using. But anyway, here they are..
Laneige Perfect Renew Regenerator
I lah-ove this product. Srsly though. It’s very lightweight yet very moisturizing. I like that I can use it with or without a heavier moisturizer (because that’s actually how I do my skincare routine) and I love that I can use it underneath my makeup since it sets immediately. It smells good too!
L’oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer
I like this because compared to most stick concealers that I’ve tried, this one’s creamy, making it easy to blend and the coverage lasts. it doesn’t fade quite easily. I use this whenever I’m in a hurry and just need to cover up some dark spots, etc. and I’m good to go.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
If you’ve read my review about this one, you prolly know my thoughts about this palette already. Recently, I’ve only been using the shades Dim & Incandescent Light. I use Incandescent Light for my under eye area, and sometimes as my highlighter, if I want things to be subtle and I use Dim Light as my finishing powder. I love this because it makes my skin look radiant and glowing, and even when times when I feel like I’m so hagard that not even a good moisturizer can boost my skin, this one can totally fake it.
NARS Blush in ‘Orgasm’
I don’t have a lot of Nars Blushes. In fact, I only have this one, which is their duo (Orgasm/Laguna) so in terms of knowledge regarding their blushes, mine is kinda limited. But I have to say that Orgasm is indeed beautiful and worth the moolah. It’s very pigmented and it really looks pretty on the skin. I own some of the blushes that were claimed as “dupes” of Orgasm. Sure they’re similar when swatched, but they’re different once you have them on your cheeks. If you’re thinking of buying a Nars Blush try this one first. Despite the “dupes” that are practically everywhere these days, I would still say that having the real thing, in this case, is still the “best one”.
Etude House Easy Brow Pencil
I was actually looking for their other eyebrow pencil but they didn’t have it in stock so I ended up buying this one. That’s not to say, I didn’t like it because I’ve been using this eyebrow pencil ever since. I like that it’s quite pigmented, easy to use and it comes with a brow brush at the other end. Makes it a lot more convenient especially when travelling.
Maybelline Creamy Matte in ‘Touch of Spice’
I got this back when they were selling it for Php 199 each. It’s been a cult favorite in US and even here, I’ve heard that it’s out of stock practically everywhere. It looks brownish when swatched, but when applied it looks a bit mauve-ish. I like wearing this when I’m running errands, being in a hurry, etc. because it’s very easy to apply and it glides on easily. It’s non-drying as well, due to it’s creamy formula so those with severely dry lips can definitely use this.
Laneige Two-Tone Lip Bar in ‘Daring Darling’
I featured this in my Althea Korea Unboxing/Haul. The reason why I love this is because the color really lasts on my lips and it’s very moisturizing. Not to mention the unique packaging as well as the application. My niece actually influenced me to buy this. She’s so into Korean Makeup which totally makes sense because she does look like a Korean, hehe.
MeNow Kissproof SoftLipstick in ’12’
This is indeed veeeerrryyy long lasting. You will actually need a makeup remover to get this entirely off your lips. However, it can be quite drying. If you have severely dry/chapped lips, using this might not be the best idea. But, if you’re always on the run with no time for retouching, you might love this one. I have a review about this here.
So those are my favorites for March 2016. I told you. I didn’t have a lot. Even the skincare products that I use are the same, the makeup, the lippies. But still, thought I’d share.
How about you? What are your favorites for the month of March?
Do let me know!
