February 2016 Faves
It’s March! March! March I tell ya! MAAARRCCCHHH!! Okay, I went a little overboard there, but seriously. I felt like last month was Christmas and now it’s about to be Summer? Like srsly? Still overreaching? Well, blame my work. I haven’t been outside recently. Anyway, still, that didn’t stop me from buying and using new products. Oh well, without further babbling, here are my February Favorites.

February 2016 FavesSt. Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub – I’ve always been a fan of St. Ives so when I saw this at our local grocery, I didn’t hesitate. This one smells so good and it’s not as abrasive compared to the other ones that I’ve tried from the same brand. It’s a good exfoliating product but I only use it two to three times a week because it can be a bit too drying if used daily.

Etude House My Beauty Tool Facial Cleansing Brush – I don’t know how many of these facial brushes I own already. All from different brands, different sizes, types, etc. However, prior to owning this one, I thought all of them were the same. But this one’s a lot more gentler for some reason. I use this with my Safeguard facial cleanser.

Banila Co. Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm – This one saves me time in removing my makeup especially if I’m wearing layers and layers of them. Also a lifesaver when I’m swatching lip products. I reviewed this one here just in case you’re interested.

Maybelline White Super Fresh – This is really good especially if have oily skin, commute or sweat a lot. I for one sweat like nobody’s business so this became an instant hit. I like that it has a sheer to medium, yet buildable coverage and it lasts for a loooonng time. Read my review here.

Iope Air Cusion XP – A lot of beauty gurus have been raving about this cushion fondie and finally, Althea Philippines can now ship this directly to our doors. This cushion foundation covers like no other cushion fondie does, and it also gives that beautiful youthful glow. I’ll be reviewing this soon so stay tuned.

L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Orange Concealer – My dark under eye circles are getting worse so I asked my blogger friends for their recommendations and Genzel suggested this one. It does work wonders, however, I prefer to mix it with a tiny bit of a skin tone concealer because the orange shade can be a bit too strong for my taste.

Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Foundation – I lah-ove the coverage and finish of this one. My skin looks so healthy and glowy when I use this one and the coverage is indeed promising.

Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray – I finally get the hype about this product. This can indeed extend the longevity of my makeup without making it look too dry or flat. I am definitely impressed.

Pink Sugar Cosmetics Sweet Cheeks HD Blush in ‘Summer Nights’ – I’m not really a fan of bright orange blushes but this blends onto my skin beautifully. It brightens up my look making my skin look a lot more healthy than it normally is. lol.

Chanel Rose Initiale Joues Contraste – This has been my go to blush ever since I got it. I was browsing at the Chanel store at Vivocity when I asked the sales rep what their best sellers are and she recommended me this one. This is more of a peachy pink blush with tiny specs of gold. It’s really beautiful.

Pink Sugar Cosmetics Sweet Cheeks HD Blush in ‘Sin City’ – This is a beautiful yet subtle highlighter ideal for those who would like to try highlighters but are not into “strobing” yet. It definitely gives an oomph to your usual makeup look.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette – I’ve been wanting to get this one and finally I have it. It’s really pigmented and blends like no other. Oh and the smell! Hoo boy! I can’t wait to get a hold of more chocolate bar palettes soon, lol.

L’oreal Super Liner Gel Intenza – If you have been reading my blog then you’ll know that I am a liquid eyeliner kind of girl. But lately, my eyes have been watering like crazy. I decided to browse and see what gel liners have the best longevity. I’ve tried a few but most of them smudge like crazy and they dry within just a few weeks. I decided to buy this one from BeautyMNL because a lot of bloggers have been raving about it and true to its claim, it’s indeed creamy, pigmented and it stays on for a long time.

Majolica Majorca Linehunter – I was also looking for a liquid eyeliner since I ran out of one and I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my K-Palette so I got this. It also last a decent amount of time and I love the tip. It’s a bit finer than K-Palette.

Matte in Detail (Samantha, Rox & Rhea) – I’m still in my liquid matte lippie kick and I’ve been hearing a lot of things about this one so I decided to give this brand a try. I reviewed almost all of the shades and here are my thoughts in case you’re interested. So far those three are my favorite shades.

LA Splash Lip Couture in ‘Latte Confessions’ – It’s more of an MLBB shade only it’s not because it’s super matte. I like using this when I run errands or when I spend time with my friends and family because I don’t need to retouch often.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Mysterieuse – THIS is an MLBB shade. I like using this when I want to take a break with all of the liquid matte lippies that I’ve been using. It’s very moisturizing it feels very lightweight. Though longevity may bean issue, it’s still my fave.

Beauty Cosmetics Brushes D26, D6 & D2 – I usually don’t include makeup brushes or beauty tools in my favorites but I had to include these. I use D26 for my foundation. It sheers and blends out my foundation beautifully. I use D6 for my concealer as it blends the product in my undereye smoothly as well. D2’s brush tip is excellent for my ABH brow pomade. It’s precise tip makes it easier for me to outline my brows and also mimic my brow hairs if needed. These brushes are a winner in my book. I have a review about the entire brush set here.

Tangle Teezer – I have been using this for years and this brush survived many ‘arbors or akin na lang…’. My niece really liked this but for the life of me, I can’t give this one up. Especially when I had my hair bleached. If you are having a hard time brushing/combing your hair, and you think a wide toothed comb is not enough, you might want to invest to this one. I bought this for Php 700+. Quite pricey, I know but it’s definitely worth it.

So those are all of my favorites for the month of February. How about you? What are your favorite products last month? Have you tried any of these? Let me know! I would love to hear your thoughts

Why do you do this to me? HAHA. I seriously want to have that Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette along with UD Naked Pallete or maybe the balm’s. Could you do a review about it? I’ve read a lot of reviews from foreign beauty gurus but the weather here in PH sucks. It’s too hot!

And yeeees, that Banila Co. Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm! I’ve tried it before (not mine but my friend’s) and I seriously want to take it home and own it. LOL. I’ve never tried Pink Sugar Cosmetics before but since you shared it, I might as well try to buy one ’cause I am so into highlighters these days.

    Thanks for sharing your faves!
