Quick Review: Cream Silk Standout Straight Leave-On Cream + What’s in My #Beauty911 Kit

Quick Review: Cream Silk Standout Straight Leave-On Cream

Let me start this review by saying I have always hated using leave on creams, conditioners, serums, oils, practically anything that I have to leave on to my hair while its damp, or dry is such a no-no for me. While there are a few that gives me the result that I’ve always wanted, majority of the leave on creams, etc that I have encountered are just heavy and they weighed my hair down. Whether I apply it with my hair damp or just as a pick me up whenever my hair’s frizzy, (which is quite often tbqh) I just end up being disappointed in the end.

That’s why when Cream Silk sent me their new Cream Silk Standout Straight Leave-On Cream, I must admit, I was quite hesitant. You see, I’m a ‘messy hair, don’t care’ kind of girl, but during videos, I try to look presentable. I look at myself in the mirror and I think my hair’s fine and then when editing comes, I see those stubborn little hairs popping out here and there.

The Cream Silk Standout Straight Leave-On Cream is Cream Silk’s new innovation featuring a non-greasy & light formula, infused with Hair Reborn Actives which smoothens and nourishes frizzy hair to keep your hair looking gorgeously straighter. It has the smoothness of a conditioner and the shine of a hair polish in one product making hair instantly smooth and shiny anytime, anywhere.

It offers the smoothness of a conditioner and the shine of a hair polish in one product. Unlike other hair polish brands which only offers hair the benefit of shine, Cream Silk Leave-On Cream offers Filipinas a leave-on cream with the added benefit of smoothness that only the No. 1 Conditioner brand in the Philippines can provide

Then I started using this, I’ve come to discover that this is not as heavy nor is it as thick as their former leave-on creams, or other leave on conditioners that I’ve tried. It’s not greasy too. It’s very lightweight and very easy to spread. The scent is also another thing to love. It makes your hair smell fresh and clean. I love it!

The packaging is also very handy. It definitely fits in your Kikay Kit (or in your #Beauty911 kit) and you’re definitely secure that it won’t leak or whatever. It comes in this squeezable bottle with also a twist-able nozzle that allows you to dispense just the right amount of product.

For me, I start with just squeezing a pea-sized amount of product on my palms, spread them evenly on my hands then run them from the middle of my hair to the tip. If that’s not enough, I’ll squeeze one more, then whatever’s remaining in my palm, I gently tap the baby hairs on the roots of my hair. This definitely straightens my hair and makes it a lot shinier than it was before.

What I do love about this product is that I can use it both ways. I know that a lot of products claim the exact same thing but this one, due to it’s lightweight formula never weighed my hair down nor did they made my hair look oily or flat. My hair is a bit oily and this leave-on cream does not really affect that.

For me, I prefer to use this as an emergency fix. Sure I like using this on my damp hair but I like that I can also use this when my hair is dry. Because like I said, not all products are excellent in living up to that claim. I will definitely be bringing this with me wherever I go. A definite #Beauty911 Kit Worthy. Something that you should have #AnytimeAnywhere

Creamsilk is my favorite conditioner when I was in high school kaya natuwa ako nung may leave on na din sila.I was about to get this in sample room kaso wala pa pala kongpoints heheh.. But this is really affordable a must try product. No more messy hair

    • True. I would expect this to be a heavy leave-on cream but I was amazed with the results, I ended up loving it.

  • Really you have a sewing kit inside your Beauty 911 kit? ^-^ Well, I do have some safety pins and rubber bands on my bag every time and oh, a super glue too! Better ready than sorry. Haha
I also like this new Cream Silk Leave On conditioner and just like you, I prefer using it when my hair is dry. I remember when they first introduced this in the market, I was in high school pa and the packaging was still in green color. This is way better than the first one.

    • On my larger bag actually, when I travel. But on my usual bags, I just have safety pins, bobby pins and yes rubber bands (rio, actually, lol)

Yes! That green color. I didn’t like that one. It weighed my hair down. My hair’s really fine so the formula didn’t match my hair but it does smell really good. But this one… haay..

i’m using this too but i prefer putting it on my damp hair tapos super like ko hair ko pag natuyo na kakacommute papunta ng school:) mama told me that before she was using a cream silk leaveon too, green lang daw packaging.. i really love this one plus its affordable too..
whats on my beauty911 kit? a face towel, vicks, toothbrush and toothpaste.

    • Hahah, nice! Yes, I did have the green one too.

I agree that this one is definitely a good product. For its affordable, it works exceptionally well. At first, I was hesitant to try this out because some variant of conditioner makes my hair oilier but still I gave this a try and I’m glad I did. Go on with my emergency kit, I am a mom who panics all the time that’s why I always bring a big bag with bag on bag on it:D haha. That includes alcohol, tissue, wet wipes, medicines, candies, extra shirt, baby powder, eyebrow pen and lipstick, napkin ofcourse incase of something and many more Hehe.

Ang cute ng sewing kit hehe ♥ I’m not into leave on kasi di ko siya feel sa hair ko but I will try this one From the pic that you posted, mukhang maganda nga siya

My #Beauty911 Kit includes wipes, white flower (my fave) nose inhaler, meds, my chapstick ♥ and also mint candies ♥ hehe

  • I love the kit I’d used Cream Silk before but I stopped it because it feels so sticky and greasy on my hair. Gladly, they made a new formulation of it. Guess, I’ll give it a shot again.

Super love the kit, or what I call, the girl scout kit. I remembered cream silk leave on as being mabango talaga. But it started disappearing from the supermarket shelves so I used vitress instead. Now that it’s back with a better formulation, this indeed deserves a space in the kit. Ako naman, my 911 kit includes a lip balm, a hair serum and a hair conditioner, a comb, medicine, mint candies, and white flower. Oh, it’s a plus that it’s affordable and travel friendly (because of the size). Perfect for keeping my hair smell good even when commuting.

ooh! I used to have a bottle of this during college! I liked it before and use it before going to school (because hello, commuter’s hair!)
Currently using Pantene as a leave-on cream for my hair but when I’m done with it, I’ll def go back to Cream Silk!
