BDJ Box Elite November 2015: Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice! A Pink Sugar Exclusive | Unboxing & First Impressions

Hi loves! I was supposed to unbox this in my youtube channel but since I’m still not feeling well and I’m coughing every like 5 minutes I decided to do this here.

Anyway, last month, BDJ tied up with Pink Sugar for yet another exclusive box. If you read my previous post about the brand, you will know that they recently came up with a full line of cosmetics. So, if you’re going where I’m going, then you probably know that this box is just filled with makeup goodies. Excited to open? So am I

Lezzgooo.

BDJ Box Elite November 2015: Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice! A Pink Sugar Exclusive | Unboxing & First Impressions
Pink Sugar It’s Awesome BB Cream (30g | P499)
Here’s the perfect product when you’re in a rush every day! The Pink Sugar It’s Awesome BB Cream is a wonderful multitasker that’s ideal for daily use. It moisturizes, smoothems and corrects your skin, thanks to its Green Tea extract, Aloe Vera, antioxidants and SPF 25

I’ve been using this ever since I got it and I even brought it with me in my trip. This is not your ordinary BB Cream, I’m telling you. It doesn’t give you that overly dewy finish, it doesn’t give you that ghostly white cast we all hate when we’re taking photos. BUT! It has an amazing coverage. I really love it. I would consider this more of a lightweight foundation really, rather than a BB Cream

Pink Sugar Our Lil’ Secret Concealer (13g | P299)
Cover up dark spots with the Pink Sugar Our Lil’ Secret Concealer. It promises long-lasting medium coverage in a very easy to blend application. Infused with Cucumber Fruit and Chamomile Extract, it also helps minimize and soothe irritations and puffiness

Same as the BB Cream, this also provides one heck of a coverage. It’s budgeproof and it’s waterproof. The only downside is that, you’re gonna have to work fast in blending it AND you’re gonna need a sponge. But if you some imperfections and you need a durable yet budget-friendly concealer, I highly suggest you checking it out.

Pink Sugar Dual Finish Face Powder (9g | P499)
Pink Sugar Dual Finish Face Powder, which is packed with Ginseng, antioxidants and SPF 15, provides a shine-free nourishing finish for that face all day long. It comes in a mirrored compact and has a sponge for quick touchups throughout the day

I LAH-ove this compact! It’s really silky and it packs a nice coverage as well. You can def use this without or on top of your usual foundation. I also love the sponge that it comes with. It has a nice texture and it doesn’t have any particular scent or whatever.

Pink Sugar Sweet Cheeks HD Cheek Color in ‘Sin City’ (6g | P349)
The Pink Sugar Sweet Cheeks HD Cheek Colorhas two gorgeous highlighter shades to illuminate your face, making it look fresh all day. Neatly packed in a mirrored compact, complete with a soft brush, it has been infused with Aloe Vera and Vitamins A,C, and E to nourish skin.

Ah Sin City. This is a really gorgeous highlighter an what’s more is that it’s from the drugstore! From what I’ve heard/read, this shade is a dupe of Nars’ famous highlighter named ‘Albatross’ (I believe all Pink Sugar blushes are dupes of Nars blushes, just forgot the shade name. Do checkout TheBeautyJunkee’s review about it. She mentioned it in detail). I really like this because depending on how much product you apply, it can def give you that oomph you want from a highlighter.

Pink Sugar Eye Candy Eyeshadow Palette in ‘EC 02′(12g | P699)
Perfect your day-to-night look with the Pink Sugar Eye Candy Eyeshadow Palette which offers 10 glorgous matte and shimmer shades that are professionally curated, so you can mix and match to create endless looks. It comes with a dual-ended applicator for on-the-go use.

Mi favorito! I really love Pink Sugar palettes and I definitely wish they’ll add more in their selection. Their eyshadow palettes are highly pigmented and very comparable to other mid-range to high end brands. EC 02 is a combination of cool-toned shades with your usual pop of colors. I was specially impressed with that mint green shade. Not a lot of brands can pull that one off but I was like ‘Holy hell that’s pigmented!’ Yep, they are.. Oh, and did I mention that their palettes are the priciest in their entire range? None of their products are P700 and above. Impressive, huh?

Pink Sugar Honey, I’m Good Eyeliner Duo in ‘BNW’ (1.2g | P349)
Define your eyes in no time with the Pink Sugar Honey, I’m Good Eyeliner Duo. It features a retractable pencil tip on one end and a felt tip on the other. These two eyeliners make everyday eyeliner application smudge-proof and hassle-free.

I really love the concept of these types eyeliners. Especially this one since they offer tons of shades to choose from. The one included in this box is in ‘Black and White’. I also love the felt tip applicator, it’s very easy to use and it allows me to create my winged liner look in no time. However, I found out that some of their shades do smudge on me. The only one that doesn’t is the Brown one. Sure it does fade, but it doesn’t smudge all over and give me that panda-eyes look. Still, it depends if you have oily lids or watery eyes. If you don’t have those, then good for you, every eyeliner must be your best friend. I hate you.

Pink Sugar Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint in ‘Pink Passion’ (9g | P349)
Multitask wth the Pink Sugar Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint and achieve perfectly pigmented cheeks and hydrated lips. Long-lasting and versatile, the Lip and Cheek Tint is formulated with Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, and Vitamins A,C, and E.

I lah-ove these. These are one of my fave products from the entire line. Though I haven’t use it as a cheek tint, just saying. But if you’re looking for like one of those long lasting liquid matte lippies, look no further. Pink Sugar has ’em! Oh and they’re budget friendly. They’re a bit tricky to apply, if I may be honest and the shades are limited but once you get the hang of it you’re good to go. Oh and the scent reminds me of Fruit Tela.

Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick in ‘Bombshell'(3.4g | P349)
Dare to go bold with the Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick. With 10 semi-matte shades, you’re sure to find one that suits you. It adds drama to every pout without drying out your lips, due to its Vitamin E and Shea Butter content.

I love their creamy mattes. They have nice selection of reds and their pinks are just to die for. Oh and ‘Desire’ and ‘Royals’? OMG. Their mattes are indeed very hydrating and very easy to apply. The only thing that I’m not too fond of is the scent. But if you’ve been following my blog for quite some time now, you know that that’s the first thing I really notice when it comes to lip products.:)

BDJ Box Elite November 2015: Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice! A Pink Sugar Exclusive | Unboxing & First Impressions
Pink Sugar HD Lipstick in ‘Free Spirit’ (3.4g | P299)
Have kissable lips with the Pink Sugar HD Lipstick! With just one swipe, get high-intensity color that lasts. Formulated with Vitamin E and Shea butter, the HD Lipstick glides on your lips like a dream, while keeping them lusciously soft and moisturized.

These are also very moisturizing and also quite pigmented. With 14 shades, you’re bound to pick your fave!

So those are all of the products that are in this box. Since I have all of these products, again, I will be giving this away to one lucky reader. Stay tuned to the NEXT blog post to find out how you can win this entire loot.

Wow! This box is soo worth it, in my opinion. Not only is this BDJ BOX’s second all-makeup box, it’s also filled with FULL SIZED products. Sadly though, this will be my last unboxing for this year, since I failed to subscribe to their December box. Yeah

But still, I’m so excited for the person who will get to bag this awesome box. Again, details will be in my NEXT blog post so STAY TUNED for that.

  • Thanks for sharing this Ms. Yette I was about to grab this box on BDJ but it’s sold out already. Sayang! because I wanted to try these new products especially the BB Cream. My friend have it and she told me that it is very lightweight daw. Well upon seeing her, she has a glowing face which makes me more interested about it. Also, she doesn’t encounter any cakey-ness even when she sweat!

  • I also missed their December box Hoping that it will not BanilaCo products because I am surely become so depress! haha. And I am so excited to be your reader of the Month. Yay!

Get well soon! This box is really worth it. I’ve tried the products last Sunday sa BDJ event, and maganda siya. I super love the sugar tint the most. Di talaga natatanggal kahit kumain, but when I’ve swatched it sa hand, apparently natatanggal siya ng sweat. Then the foundation has great coverage talaga. The makeup artist didn’t use a concealer na on me. The powder is light too, and the eyeshadows are pigmented. Di ko lang bet yung eyeliner kasi not waterproof. Some of the colors from the dual-ended eyeliners din are not pigmented din. But still, the box is worth it! Super swerte ng mananalo from your giveaway. Hope to get a chance. I’m really impressed with the brand. Will wait for your reviews too.
