Quick Review: Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream Review

It has been a while since I did my monthly faves and that’s something new in my blog. If you know me, that’s new because I rarely miss a month (with the exception of January). I have been pretty consistent with letting you guys know of what I have been loving so I thought why not at least share one of them before this month ends.

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream Review

This moisturizer has a simple, direct to the point packaging. It is housed in a glass-jar with a sticker acting as a seal for protection. If you’re for extra hygiene, you might want to use a spatula for scooping out the product but I’m practical and I’m the only one who uses this product. Also, I make sure that my hands are clean when I use this so I guess that’s good enough for me.

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream Review

You pretties know that I’ve always been on the hunt for a good moisturizer that’s why when I got this last Christmas, I was so ecstatic, I had to take a photo of it right away so I could try it immediately. I must admit that though I’m a fan of lightweight moisturizers, at night time, I prefer really HEAVY and THICK ones. I have this feeling that having that the heavier & thicker the consistency is, the more moisturizing they are. And as you can see, right off the tub, it looks like a whipped cream. I can flip this over and it will take time before the cream drips on to the floor.

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream Review

Because it is an intensive moisturizer, the texture feels a bit thicker than most of my moisturizer. It is really meant as a night cream. I don’t use serums anymore but if I do, I will apply my serum, eye cream, practically everything first then use this as the final step. A little of this goes a long way as well.

What I do like about this moisturizer is that even though it has a heavier consistency, it absorbs quickly and it’s not greasy. It stays true to it’s claim. Therefore when I’m not going anywhere and my skin is feeling extra dry, I use this one as my day cream as well. Sure it feel extra tacky for a bit longer than usual but it’s definitely worth it for the benefits that I’m getting.

A bit expensive for a night cream. makakabili na ko niyan ng eyeshadow palette. Haha. Anyway, I love all the Burt’s Bees products I have. They all suit me well and are effective on me. This one looks super moisturizing as I think it can make the face oily when used in the morning. I’ll try this one out in the future. If I’m willing na to spend that much on a night cream. haha.

I love your layout/color scheme still! Pretty pa din. I think you changed your watermark din or you added a watermark now. The logo too, it changed. You really removed the pros and cons table na. But it’s okay, we read the whole blog post naman so we know it even if you don’t summarize it.

  • I don’t really have a favorite but I have been using the Ponds Dewy Gel ( which I love and used up). It really affordable and does not break me out. I have been hunting for a good night cream, I’m planning to go beyond my budget because I really want to take good care of my skin. I really wanted to invest to a good one. And this is on my list also the Burts Bees Serum. I’m still debating what to get, I’m also researching about the Kiels brand but that’s another level of expensive ;(

Miss yette whats you holy grail night cream/serum?

Wow. You also have a fave moisturizer at night; I have one too. I personally use Maxi-peel moisturizing cream. It’s so afforable and not that heavy so it’s also wearable during daytime. Even if I stay up all night till wee hours, that products gives me a glowing skin when I wake up. But I just stopped using it yesterday since my face is breaking out. I just switched to organic mask for a while but as my acne scars fade out, I’ll be switchin back to it.
