Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)

Hello everyone! I know that some of you have been asking me to do a post about my favorite local makeups, well, here’s a start. This video is in collaboration with one of the best beauty bloggers I know. She’s one of my sources when it comes to local makeup because she’s always in the know. She recently came back from a blogging hiatus and when she reached out to me to do this collab video, I definitely said yes. She now has a channel and I can’t stop watching her vids. Her voice is very calming and she’s definitely not a wreck like me (lol). I definitely urge you pretties to subscribe to her, but if you are her reader, you probably know her by now. She’s Maica of Pinay Beauty in a Budget and we decided to do a collaboration about our favorite local branded lipsticks.

Without further ado, here are my top 7

And here’s a link to her video right here.

To break it down, here’s the complete list of my lipstick favorites. For lip swatches, please refer to the video

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Sassy Colors Lipstick in ‘Cameo’
Php 149

A beautiful pinky-nude shade, perfect for everyday wear. Creamy yet it doesn’t settle onto the fine lines of your lips.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Fashion 21 Aqualicious Lipstick in ‘Little Mermaid’
Php 175

A corally pink lipstick perfect for spring/summer. Great for freshening up your look. Creamy and also moisturizing.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in ‘Skin’
Php 165

A chocolatey brownish-nude lipstick. Perfect if you have a heavy eye makeup. Not that big on longevity but it’s still a good matte lipstick for the price.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in ‘Mauvey’
Php 165

Great for everyday wear. A good MLBB shade but matte. Also, not that big on longevity.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in ‘Mauvey’
Php 165

A good statement matte lipstick great for spicing up your look. May have the tendency to bleed so it’s definitely advisable to wear a lip liner underneath.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Happy Skin Shut up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippie in ‘The Morning After’
Php 499

May be a bit pricey for such a local brand but it definitely gives you a bang for your buck. I prefer it over my Revlon Kissable balm stains and longevity-wise it definitely stays a lot longer and it gives me much more opacity.

A part of a limited edition collection but still might be available. Click here to read more about it.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
Happy Skin Shut up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippie in ‘Summer Crush’
Php 499

Definitely a great shade for the summer. Something to wear if you’re on the beach. Very moisturizing yet very pigmented. Not too bright or intimidating and if you’re still on the fence about wearing a bright lippie then this one’s for you.

A part of a limited edition collection but still might be available. Click here to read more about it.

BONUS: Nichido Lip Liner in ‘Rosette’
About Php 100

One of my favorites when I want to wear that 90’s lipstick trend. Definitely a lot creamier than most of the local lip liners I have encountered so far and offers good longevity.

Favorite Local Brand Lipsticks (Collab with Pinay Beauty in a Budget)
BONUS: Nichido Lip Liner in ‘Blaze’
About Php 100

My one and only red lip liner. This is the only lip liner I wear underneath all of my red lippie and so far this hasn’t failed me yet. I think that pretty much says it all, does it?

If you’re looking for more selections then go checkout Maica’s video because like I said she’s very knowledgeable in local brands. Oh and if you have suggestions and you would like me to try something, please feel free to let me know, I would love to hear your thoughts.

So, until next time. Stay tuned for my next post! Love you pretties! x

Have you tried using Rucys vanity makeups?

    • Nope, I haven’t. They’re only available online & at Fisher Mall I think.

I like the Fashion 21 hues you got there. I’m not really into buying local stuff because I just discovered last year thay Maybelline has php160 lippies. But well, we have to love and support our own products. =)

I also like the Ever Bilena Red Matte lipstick. I’ve been using local brands and so far I very much contented with it.

Are the sassy lipsticks available in watsons or sm department stores?

    • SM but thet’re not widely available yet.

You posted the ever bilena matte lipstick in mauvey twice. Or is it intended. I’m hesitant to buy EB lipsticks as some of them doesn’t smell good. Of course, Happy Skin lippies, one of my favorites even more than the foreign brands. I’m now interested to buy the Nichido lipliner. I’m not so impressed with Nichido as I bought an eyeshadow from them and it falls off easily. As in kakadikit pa lang ng brush messy na agad.

    • Thanks for the reminder. The other one’s supposed to be Skin. That’s what I get for not proofreading, lol.

  • Aegeane Mikka Brioso

First time to heard about the sassy lipstick, and it made me wow agad! The color is just perfect for everyday wear, I think magkakasundo kami nito! Nainlove ako sa kulay! Super inlove ako sa nude na lipstick the past few days, in na in siya kahit anong look! I also have the fashion 21 lippy in berry princess and what I love about this brand is its longevity. Mine lasts for up to 4-6 hours I think and it leave a pinkish shade after. Ang ganda, thumbs up sa brand na to. Their mascara is good too! I heard a lot of positive feedbacks about it! Was thinking if fashion 21 and fanny serrano brand are the same? Im a little bit confuse because fashion 21 brand is cheaper than FS.
And oh, the EB! Honestly, I am not a fan of EB before because their powders are too cakey when applied. But when I heard their new release matte lippies, I became curious again with this brand! Haha! And I think you really had a big influence to me, to us, that’s why Im trying it din! Haha! It looks very pigmented, and the price is very affordable too! Pasok na pasok sa budget ng college students like me Will try these lippies talaga. Yay! Thanks for a very nice review. I love your look on the vid! Very blooming Till your next vid and post, love love! :*

    • I think they’re sister companies (fashion 21 & fs cosmetics). Thanks love!

  • Marian April Pang

Definitely must haves for lipstick lovers on a budget! I love that these are affordable, it’s great to start a new year being matipid
Sometimes if I’m on their counter/booth, I tend to buy a lot which I’m there only for one shade of lipstick. Overall this help me decide, what I will be purchasing next

    • Haha. I can definitey relate. Sometimes I’m just supposed to biy an eyebrow pencil and I end up buying 3 lipsticks on the side. Lol

  • Eddielli Bungay

I am actually not a lippie person. I just stick on lip balms. The price is really affordable to think that they are all below P200! I like sassy lipstick and is really nice. My maid bought one as a gift for herself! and she really likes it!

    • The Happy Skin lippies are 499-525 each but they’re really worth it.

  • Kleah

I am a fan of lipsticks. I cannot go out without it. Thank you because not everyone can afford to buy the expensive brands including me but these lipsticks are also good in quality. Most of my lipsticks are from Ever Bilena and i must say that they also have good products, I just wanna thank you for inspiring me to still look beautiful even i’m a mom . I always check your blog because Out of all the blogs that I visited, Yours was my favorite. I do hope that we will have more bloggers like you. I will but the nichido lip liner because you made a good review to this product. Thank you Yette. May God shower you with a lot of blessings. Looking forward to all your make up reviews here and on Youtube as well.

  • I’m a big fan of Nichido. I love their juicy lips collection as well and the liners are superb

    • Haven’t tried that collection yet. Might check that out.

  • Where have I been? I found your blog just now and must I say, Nichido products brought me here. I have the same EB lippy shades, yey! Thanks for sharing.

  • I would love to try Fashion 21 Little Mermaid. Probably it would make me look younger and fresher! (^-^) And yes, that Mauvey shade has been a fave among other beauty bloggers too! I have one in my stash which I use from time to time.
