November 2014 | BDJ Box Unboxing & First Impressions
Hey loves! I know this post is also delayed. WTH is wrong with me? I got this box last weekend and I was supposed to do a video. But when I went to editing, I realized that my thoughts and opinions about this box were just to “honest”. And it’s also too late to redo the entire thing again since they’re already open so I thought I’d just do an unboxing post again. Next time nalang yung video ulet.
This is BDJ’s third Benefit Exclusive box and I got the two boxes out of the three. Not sure what month was the first but I got the June box then this one. This month’s box’s theme is ‘Sweet Shoppe’ and it’s also the name of Benefit’s Holiday line.
Bathina Body Oil Mist (Full Size: 78ml | Php 1,800)
Unleash the flirty you with Bathina Oil! Perfected with the touch of sweet almond, olive avocado oils and vitamin E, it leaves you feeling smooth and irresistibly sexy from head toe to.
Not gonna lie. I really do like the smell of this one. It’s very mild and the sample size is not bad. It goes perfectly well with my vanity area too. Oh and this was my favorite among all of the products in this box.
They’re Real Push Up Liners (Full Size: 1.4g | Php 1300)
This lash hugging pen gel liner uses a soft AccuFlex tip that gives you smooth, non-budge application. It’s a waterproof matte black gel eyeliner that can last for as long as 24 hours on your lids!
Though as much as I am interested in to using this, the packaging of this sample was just very inconvenient to use. The product was a hit since it stayed onto my waterline for a really long time but using the sample was really a miss for me. It’s not something you wouldn’t want to use especially when you already have a good eye makeup on.
POREfessional Pro Balm (Full Size: 22ml; Php 1600)
Get smoother than smooth skin with this pore minimizer. This silky an dlightweight balm is formulated with vitamin E to help protect your skin, while minimizing your pores and appearance of fine lines.
You pretties know how much I love this product and I even got the same quantity from their previous Benefit exclusive BDJ Box. This primer really goes a long way and it makes your makeup stay the whole day. But sometimes, I could really use some variety.
Lollitint Lip & Cheek Stain (Full Size: 12.5 ml; Php 1,700)
You can never go wrong with this sweet candy-orchid tint! With its smudge-proof and smooch-proof formula, you now can get that sweet flirty flush for your lips and cheeks all day long.
This was also one of the products that I got in their previous box. I’m not really a tint/stain person but I do like this because it is indeed smudge proof and it doesn’t budge once you have it on. But then again, I already got it from my previous box, and a little of it goes a long way.
Big Easy Perfection Perfector (Full Size: 35 ml; Php 2,000)
A true 2-in-1 coverage that controls oil and balances moisture while giving a lightweight finish to the skin. It perfectly conceals imperfections as it adjusts to your skin tone, while it soothes and protects your skin from free radicals.
Like the other items I’ve mentioned, I already got this as well. Tbqh, I didn’t like this. I tried so hard to love it because I love BB Creams (if you’ve been reading my blog for quite some time you will know that about me) but this one just doesn’t offer much coverage. It would be okay if it’s not as expensive but…it is.
High Bean Complexion Enhancer (Full Size: 12.5 ml; Php 1,700)
Want a highlighter that doesn’t over shimmer your face? High Bean gives a subtle sheen to your face so you can get that fresh and dewy look. Just dot it in the parts of your face that’s usually touched by the sun and blend for a luminous glow.
I love that they included this in my box. I’ve been wanting to have this product and I’m so psyched to get a sample size. This will definitely last me for quite some time.
Instant Comeback Facial Serum & Total Moisture Facial Cream
Really interested in Benefit’s Skincare products. I do like their Eye Potent but these samples are just so tiny. I know that they’re bonuses, but still. For me, it’s hard to determine whether you love/hate a product when you can barely get a decent use out of it. But like I said, that’s just me.

Overall, if I’m being completely honest, I’m not a total fan of this box. This is their third Benefit exclusive box and I haven’t seen a full-sized product yet. I know I mentioned before that that would just be asking for too much since Benefit products are quite expensive, but still. It’s their third exclusive box. Oh well. Maybe that was just a wishful thinking. I would also love some variety since I got these products before from the previous box (not to mention that I got 2 of each products as well).
But still, if you ask me whether this box is worth it or not. I’d still say yes. BDJ Box is always worth it and regardless of whatever’s inside, seriously you can never go wrong with BDJ. There may be times where some items/boxes disappoint you but still, if you think about how much products you’re getting and how much you paid for the box, it’s still totally worth it.
How about you? Did you get a November BDJ Box? Did you like it so far? What do you think about this month’s box? Let me know.
