Top 5 Under P500 Makeup Products Video (Collab with Genzelkisses)

Hi loves! I am so excited to share this collaboration video with you that I did with my good friend and co-beauty blogger Genzel of GenzelKissesTV. As you may already know, we’ve been hanging out lately through beauty events and I invited her to do a collab with me and she graciously accepted it. We’re supposed to do a collab even before but I stopped doing videos for a while and things got a bit hectic, but oh well.

Anyway, here’s my version of my Top 5 Under P500 Makeup Products Video. I hope you enjoy!

As I have mentioned, I did not include products which are OVER P500 but you can buy for less than P500 through online resellers. I know that I wasn’t able to clear that up for some reason and I was kinda all over the place while explaining that. All of still products can still be bought online and for a lot lesser price, but I still did not include products such as Revlon, L’oreal, etc. which we all know are more than P500 when bought at the department store. I hope you got my point.

Anyway, here are my Top 5 according to the order they were mentioned (in writing )

Top 5 Under P500 Makeup Products Video (Collab with Genzelkisses)
Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Ultimate Longwear Concealer

Packaging sucks but the coverage is amazing! Go hoard this if I were you because they often go out of stock!

Ellana Minerals Pressed Mineral Blush Duos

This one is in ‘Kitten/Peach Passion’ and I love this! It gives you such a beautiful glow from within. They have a nice color payoff and they’re very pigmented. I have a review about it here if you’re interested.

Essence All About Matt Fixing Loose Powder

Love this one! It doesn’t make my face look shiny the entire day and it sets my entire makeup as if like I used a finishing spray. Even my mom loves this!

Wet N’ Wild Matte Lipsticks
Price – Php 299

A very affordable alternative to high end lippies! Oh and there are a lot of colors to choose from, a lot of which are dupes of high end brands, especially MAC shades. Packaging sucks though.

Ellana Pressed Mineral Foundation

The counterpart of the famous Ellana Minerals Loose Powder Foundation. I love this because I can bring this while traveling. It’s not as messy but it gives me the same coverage. I have a review about this product here.

So those are my Top 5 Under P500 Makeup Products. I hope you liked my version, and I hope that you enjoyed the video. Please check out Genzel’s video right here and her blog post right here.

Great choices!!! I also read Genzel’s version and you both did great! I think I’m going to try out the Ellana powder because the MAC Studio Fix is just breaking my bank lol. Where is Ellana available? I haven’t seen their products around..

    • Thanks! You’re going to love Ellana

They have their website (ellana.com.ph) and they’re also available at Crossings The Ramp.

I love your picks, as well as Genzel’s picks. Both picks are really commendable. As for me, I cannot pick just five so just like what I’ve commented on Genzel’s picks, I chose 5 top make up brands. Haha. What I like the most are Elf, Ellana, Nyx, Jordana and Maybelline. I love Elf because it’s cheap, very accessible and is of high quality. I love Ellana since I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about it from bloggers like you. What I love about Nyx the most is their eyeshadow cream sticks and their jumbo lip sticks (I forgot what’s it called. haha). I was just fond of sharpening it like pencils. Jordana, I’ve seen it at Watson’s and tried it. Lastly, Maybelline, which I think the brand I really started with. It’s available almost everywhere.

    • BRANDS? Hahaa. Daya.. Oh I love ELF & NYX too!

I don’t know much about Jordana. Meron na ba sa Watson’s? O.O

I saw Jordana sa Watson’s SM Megamall. I haven’t checked kung meron din sa ibang branches.

My faves are the ones from maybelline, their mascaras are to die for at such a low price

  • This is a great list of products!:) I’m not so good with makeup, but I do like great products at low prices!:)

Must try that concealer! I’ve been looking for a high coverage concealer for so long already. And I’m so bummed that the loose powders from essence are always out of stock in SM Makati

    • The concealer’s really good, considering that it’s just drugstore. Oh and that loose powder is really good and cheap too. Hope you can find one soon!

  • I will buy that concealer when I ran out of my k-palette, mas mura siya and looks good for my stubborn broken capillaries on my cheeks hahaa. Thanks for the collab Yette! MUA!

    • Thanks din, sis! See you soon! :*

I wonder if the refill for the Ellana pressed mineral foundation is still available? I have checked their website but I could not find them.

    • I don’t think there’s a refill available for their pressed line. They do have a refill available for their loose powders.

  • This is one of the topics that I like seeing as a blog post. If only you could feature ten products, that would be so exciting. The Essence Matt Loose Powder is one of the products on my “to try” list. I’m also eyeing for the Wet N’ Wild Matte Lipsticks because I want to have my stash of matte lippies. I like your choices here.
