BDJ Box Elite: Be Your Own Heroine | Unboxing & First Impressions

Hi loves! How’s your week so far? Mine’s been crazy busy (what’s new?) Oh well, I’ve been so thrilled this week because I got my BDJ Box Elite and if you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that it’s only my first time getting my self a BDJ Box Elite. Some of their boxes just run out of stock even before I start emailing them. (like their very first Elite box! Oh the heartbreak!) But some of their boxes even though they were great and so worth it, was just not my style. But this one? Oh! When I first saw the illustration/teaser. I thought to myself, I HAD TO HAVE one of their boxes. And luckily, I was able to grab one of my own.

This is another exclusive box, filled with another Asian makeup brand. One I must admit, I’m not familiar of. To be honest, the only reason why I jumped in buying this was because of the illustration that I saw from the teaser they posted at their Facebook account the day before they opened the reservations. I remember this notebook I had when I was a kid with almost the exact drawing and I really loved it. I rarely write in it because I loved it that much, lol. Anyway, this month’s box is filled with makeup from the brand, Heroine Make. A Japanese makeup brand that will soon be released here. (Or already released? Either way, it’ll be here ^_^)

Isehan Sunkiller Perfect Strong Plus
Full Size: 30ml; Price: PhP 445

Per what I’ve read in the packaging along with the cards that were included in the box, this sunblock has SPF 50 PA++. I am definitely excited to use this. I swatched it earlier and it has the same consistency as the L’oreal/Neutrogena sunblock I’ve been using. I am worried though that this might give me that whitecast effect in photos. Oh well, we’ll see.

*ISEHAN by the way is under Heroine Make or a sister company of Heroine Make.

Heroine Make Protect UV Mineral BB Cream
Full Size: 30g; Price: PhP 595

I am very excited to use this. This also has SPF 50 PA++ in it. I also swatched it earlier today and it has a semi-matte finish. It does not have the traditional dewy finish and it does not feel tacky. I love the consistency and the finish of it. Like I said, I can’t wait to use it. Oh! And it matches my skin tone!

Heroine Make Mineral Loose Powder
Full Size: 6g; Price: PhP 695

Swatched this earlier as well and it was a bit lighter than my skin tone. Maybe I can work with it. We’ll see. But the texture’s really nice. It’s very creamy and the packaging’s nice. It’s the typical jar for loose powders but it’s cute. Haha

Heroine Make Quick Eyebrow
Full Size: 0.7g; Price: PhP 345

Oh! I tried using this earlier and I really liked it. It was love at first try. If you see it in July faves then it probably means that I really ended up loving it. It’s very creamy and the fine tip makes it a lot easier to draw those fine lines.

Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner
Full Size: 2.5g; Price: PhP 595

Honestly, I’m not really used with these types of eyeliner anymore. I got so used with pen eyeliners and it’s kinda hard adjusting back to these. But THIS eyeliner is so freakin’ black, it’s a lot blacker than my KPalette and it doesn’t budge. I swatched it the day I got it then the next day, I already took a bath, it was still there. It’s really matte, and it’s really BLACK. Damn! Gotta adjust to this eyeliner really fast!

Heroine Make Impact Frame and Curl Mascara
Full Size: 7.5g; Price: PhP 695

Used this yesterday. It’s really lengthening and it’s really black. But I noticed that it doesn’t give that much volume. Don’t take my word for it yet. I’m going to do a formal review about this. The only thing I can tell you is this: IT’S SO FREAKING WATERPROOF! IT’S HARD TO REMOVE.

Heroine Make Eyelash Fixer
Full Size: 5ml; Price: PhP 345

This is so timely because my eyelash glue is missing and I kept on buying that eyelash glue from Nichido which either I throw out after 3-5 uses or for some reason gets lost as well. I’m looking forward to using this for special family occasions.

Price: PhP 345

I love these pair of eyelashes! They’re very glamorous looking yet they still look so natural. I’m looking forward to using this in a family event that’s gonna happen soon.

So those are all of the products that I got from this box. I am so happy with this box to the point that after I took photos of them I ripped them all of the packaging (just like I said in my Twitter post, lol). I am so excited to let you know what I think of each of these items individually. Let me know if you want me to review anything in particular.

By the way, BDJ Box Elite costs PhP 1,480 and I believe that they don’t do this on a monthly basis. They announce it on their social media accounts if they’ll be releasing new boxes. Considering that I only paid PhP 1,480 but all of the products are worth PhP 4,060 and not to mention that I LOVE ALL OF THEM. Jheeze, what can I say? You think this box is worth it? That was me being sarcastic by the way (LOL). Let me know what you think? Lol.

How about you? Have you received your BDJ Box yet?

You’re one of the lucky gals who can try these products before its launch and that’s so exciting. Its almost a complete make-up set minus the blush on and lipstick. Getting a BDJ Box can really be surprising.
