Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop & Peach Pop – Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share to you loves another makeup product that I’m currently obsessing about. You might’ve noticed these babies already in my latest haul & faves post. I just can’t stop using them. They may be a bit pricier than drugstore blushes, but considering the fact that I use them quite often, I think I’m beginning to get my money’s worth.

I really adore the packaging of these blushers. They’re so cute! They’re in a transparent compact with a daisy embossed as the blusher’s design. It’s really cute and girly, something that you’ll definitely want to pop up for retouching. The plastic’s durable, and it locks securely. What I like about it is that just by the packaging, you can already see their own shades. They’re tiny and easy to bring around in your kikay kit. Honestly, I can’t say anything wrong about the packaging of these blushes. Aside from the fact that they’re totally adorable, they’re really durable. It’s not made from cheap plastic.

Berry Pop – is a vibrant fuchsia pink shade with bluish undertones. It also has this beautiful sheen that you barely notice when you’re staring it right at the pan.
Peach Pop – is a vibrant coral blush with warm undertones. Like Berry Pop, this blush also gives your skin this beautiful sheen.

Right from the pan, you would expect these blushes to be matte, but no. It gives your skin that healthy, youthful glow. I use my Marrionaud Angle Blush Brush #3 in applying these blushes and these product makes my blush look as if it was done via airbrush. It has a diffused look that doesn’t come naturally when you use powder blushes.

These blushes have the most unique texture I have ever encountered. They’re quite dry yet each blusher is very pigmented. They barely have any powder residues but they’re not sticky nor are they creamy either. Like I said, their texture is very unique compared to all of the blushers I have ever encountered. These blushes are very easy to blend, and you don’t need a lot just to put some color on to your cheeks. A little of this product goes a long way. It does not feel chalky nor does it feel crumbly, flaky or powdery either.

These babies lasted on me for more than six hours, and by then, they started to fade. Please take note, though, that I was staying in a fully air-conditioned room.

I am so head over heels about these blushers! I love them to bits! If you’re looking for a unique blusher that is far different form the blushes that we have in the drugstore these days, then look no further. This is it. I never thought I’d like a makeup product from Clinique, but dang.. this is really good! I cannot stress that any further
It is worth the money because I have been using my Berry Pop non-stop and the daisy’s still there. Well, I knicked it, but that’s different. You know me, I’m forever a klutz
My first cheek pop was ‘Berry Pop’ but then I decided to buy ‘Peach Pop’. I don’t want to buy another one anymore! Lol

So those are all of my thoughts regarding these blushers. How about you? What do you think about Clinique’s Cheek Pops. Do you like ’em? Let me know

The very first blush that I ever owned was Clinique. I’d have to say, this brand is my first love when it comes to blushes.

    • My first Clinique makeup was a lipstick. I forgot how old I was back then, lol >.<

Such beautiful shades. And I think both colors will suit morena’s like me but it’s way too pricey for a blush I don’t think I will be ready to splurge that much for a small piece of blush (just my personal thought ^.^ ) I might just look for a dupe of these two.. Great review! :))

    • Yes, it is pricey. Have you tried Sleek blushes? They have intense pigmentation and not as subtle as this one but they’re really good

  • Wow you got two blushes na nito! I wanted to buy this din kaso next time nalang ganda niya!
