February 2014 Collective Haul

Hi pretties! How was everyone’s weekend so far? I’m afraid I don’t have a lot to show you guys in this particular monthly haul since I have been doing my shopping during the first week of the month, so if you want to see the stuff that I got during the first week of February, you can check out my January Collective Haul since I decided to include some items there.

Anyway, here are some of the items that I got that weren’t included in that particular haul.

February 2014 Collective Haul
Celeteque Hair & Scalp Care Clarifying Shampoo

I saw a product review of this one from Project Vanity and in that post, she noted a couple of signs and symptoms that one’s having if you’re in need of a clarifying shampoo. Well, guess what, I’m experiencing most of those symptoms. Therefore, right after reading it, I hurried to my nearest supermarket and grabbed myself a piece and it really did change my hair care regimen. My hair feels lighter, softer and more manageable. My mama ended up loving it too, she no longer complains about her hair feeling extra heavy. We use it once a week.

February 2014 Collective Haul
Chai Tea Latte Loose Mineral Powder Foundation* – PhP 460;
Icon Lip and Cheek Palette* – PhP 250

Since the powder foundation that I got from Ellana doesn’t exactly match my skin tone, I decided to get another one. My older powder foundation will go to my mama which by the way loves it so much, it matches her skin tone perfectly and she lah-oves the coverage it provides. As for me, I’m very happy I bought myself anther one because I can get to use it for days when I don’t want to put a ton of makeup. It’s a good alternate to my Ellana Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation. As for the lip and cheek palette, I have been wanting to buy that product ever since I saw it in Ms. Liz’s post. I’m so glad I bought myself one because it’s so damn pigmented it can really work as either a lip or cheek product. I’ll do a review about these products, don’t worry.

February 2014 Collective Haul
Revlon Age Defying Targeted Dark Spot Concealer Treatment in ‘Light’ – PhP 400;
Revlon Colorburst Matte and Lacquer Balms in ‘Sultry’, ‘Elusive’, ‘Showy’, ‘Shameless’ and ‘Audacious’ – PhP 380 (smudged) to PhP 400

I have been loving these babies! The concealer is really great, it provides an awesome coverage, it’s thick but a little of it goes a long way. I have been using it non-stop ever since I got it. The matte balms are really pretty, especially ‘Elusive’, ‘Sultry’ and ‘Shameless’. A relative of mine said that I look horrible wearing a purple lipstick but I kinda disagree. Hehe. oh well, whatever.

    Ellana has a giveaway on their account I am wishing that I will win in their giveaway because I really wanted to try their products which captured my attention because of your very nice reviews about them! I am curious about the clarifying shampoo. What is the useof this kind of shampoo Ms. Yhette? Thank you for sharing this!

    • It’s used for deep cleaning our roots. Sometimes when we use a ton of hair products this can be helpful because a regular shampoo just can’t get rid of all of that gunk that’s in our hair.

  • Marissa Colmenar Brioso

    I wanted to try the revlon matte balm. It seems that it finishes full coverage on the lips and you know how much I am a big fan of lipsticks! Haha! I wanted to try the “gorgeous” brand of lipstick which I found att aura mall. A bit pricey, but it is such a good product!

    • I haven’t encountered ‘Gorgeous Cosmetics’ yet, so I can’t say anything about it but the Revlon Matte Balms are definitely worth the purchase.
