Sleek Blush by 3 in ‘Lace’ – Review, Photos & Swatches
Product Description/Claims According to the Sleek Website:
The ultimate blush palette with 3 complementary shades in one mirrored compact.
– Layer the varying finishes for greater intensity, or apply alone for a burst of full-on pigmentation.
– The versatile shimmer shades can be used to highlight areas of the face that naturally catch the light for a luminous finish.
I have been eyeing this blush set for quite some time now, along with the other four, and it took a whole lot of guts and restraint to not buy some of the other shades.
PACKAGING – This blush comes in a black, sleek (for lack of a better word), rectangular compact with a mirror on its entire lid. I love the fact that the product’s packaging is really thin yet it contains so much product. It’s very handy and it doesn’t feel cheap either. Sleek Makeup products mostly have the same packaging from their blush, to their palettes, they have really thin plastic packaging then a generous amount of product inside. The plastic feels sturdy, and you can definitely carry it around without thinking that it might break/give up. It also has a pretty significant weight into it.
SHADE & APPLICATION – This product/blush set is basically a combination of three gorgeous orange & coral shades that I believe is perfect for ladies with fair to medium skin. Each shade has a name:
• Crochet – Bright orange shade with a matte finish
• Guipure – Peachy-orange shade with a shimmery finish
• Chantilly – Bright coral shade with a matte finish
Looking at it right from the pan, the blush may look kind of intimidating and it may throw some people off. But believe me when I tell you that they’re super easy to blend, which makes it wearable on a day to day basis. Just dip your brush slightly, tap off the excess and blend upwards. You can wear each blush alone (I prefer building it up to your preferred intensity) or you can wear all three together, using the ‘Guipure’ as your highlighter. As for me, I prefer the former.
CONSISTENCY & PERFORMANCE – Each of these shades are really pigmented, and when swatched – HOO BOY! They’re just plain gorgeous! They’re not powdery, nor are they chalky, they’re buttery smooth and like I said, they’re quite easy to blend. I love their color pay off and the shimmery shade goes on smoothly too. I don’t experience any fall outs with this one, although as mentioned, you will have to tap your brush from time to time, but that’s just normal.
LONGEVITY & SCENT – These blushes on me for more than 6-7 hours, (pretty much like their Face Contour Kit) and they stay vibrant all day. And yes, all of them. I’ve had this product for more than a week and I can’t stop using it. That alone, proves that this product is a good one and never disappoints. As for the scent, just like the Face Contour Kit, it smelled kinda like a foundation but it’s really faint and you wont notice it unless you smelled it right out of the pan.
& ETC – The only downside I guess (aside from the faint scent, if you’re not really fond of scented cosmetics) is the MICA & TALC that is included in making these blushers (For those who are going to inhale this stuff, kidding). Aside from that, I don’t have anything more against this product. As previously mentioned, this product contains 20g of three highly pigmented blushers, and is one of the five shades in the Blush By 3 palettes. I bought it for PhP 850 from Updated Trends during the SuperSale Bazaar (check out my SuperSale Bazaar haul here which is a good deal, in my opinion.
• Shade | Lace • Price | PhP 850 • Contains | 20g / 0.68oz

Overall, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! and I can’t say anything bad against it. Well, there is, I guess one thing is that I wish I didn’t have to order it. With all of the UK cosmetic brands that are coming here in the Philippines, I sincerely hope that Sleek brings their makeup here! I’m kinda lazy when it comes to ordering online (lazy pa daw yun oh! Let’s rephrase – I’m kinda RESTRAINED when it comes to shopping online :P). . I just wish I can buy it in a department store or something, lol. But then again, you can always find this online.
Of course! I love this product and will definitely buy more! I really do recommend this product and if you’re fond of orange/coral blushers then this is the one to get. You get three for the price of one. There’s also four more variants to choose from, and I’m currently eyeing on ‘Pumpkin’ and ‘Pink Spirit’.
So those are my thoughts regarding this product, I hope you find them helpful and if you need me to review something that is from the a sneak peek that I’ve shown you, then just let me know.
How about you? What’s your current favorite blush? Are you familiar of the Sleek makeup brand? What’s your favorite shade of blush? Let me know!
