Lioele Blooming Pop Tints in Cherry, Pinky & Orange – Review, Photos & Swatches
Product Claims/Descriptions according to Lioele Philippines:
A stain that plants a kiss of see-through tint on cheeks and lips.Soft and moisture absorbing milk lotion with stickiness.Hours of smudge-proof and water-proof.
PACKAGING – The packaging of these babies are just plain cute. The design is a perfect combo of function and ‘girly-ness’. I’ll explain later.
Orange Tint – This one is housed in a sturdy, orange glass with some sheen into it. The color also leans on the fruity side which is something that I really like. It also has some significant weight, just like the rest of the other tints.
Cherry Tint – Compared to the other bottles, this one has a see-through glass that basically shows the color of the tint inside. I also like this one because you get to know how much product you have left.
Pinky Tint – This is my favorite among the three in terms of packaging. Well, aside from the fact that I just love PINK, it’s has a really pearlescent feature that is just oh so pretty. I’m running out of words to describe it really, lol. I’m just loving the packaging of this one, seriously.
APPLICATOR – All of these tints/shades have the same applicators. They all come with a brush, ‘nail-polish’ like brush/applicator that is attached at the cap of the product. I find that nowadays, most lip and cheek tints come with this sort of packaging.
APPLICATION – Even though this one comes with a brush/applicator, I still prefer to apply this using my ELF Small Stippling brush. I find that if I do this, at least I get to eliminate those dots that mark my face whenever I apply the tint directly onto my face. I tried dotting the brush in the apples of my cheeks and blended it using either my stippling brush and/or my hands. However, I ended up having multiple dots underneath and no matter what I do it’s just there. Unless I want to completely ruin my entire look, I had no choice but to deal with it.
Therefore, I suggest that if you’re going to use these products as your cheek tint, apply it first at the back of your hand and then pat some of it on using your fingers onto your cheeks (as if you’re using a concealer). This is so that you’ll be be able to get rid of the dots/marks. Or, you can also use the ELF Small Stippling Brush like me. It’s like my goto cream/liquid based blush brush.
SWATCHES/CONSISTENCY – Compared to what I’ve been used to before, (I’m making it sound like I’ve live for a century, lol) these tints are quite thicker in terms of formula. The cherry tint is a lot more opaque than the others, but when blended, all three produce the same results. They give you just a sheer touch of color, making you look either flushed, excited or dare I say, ‘in love’.
SHADES/COLOR INTENSITY – LIPS – All of these babies are quite buildable, especially on your lips. If in case you’re not satisfied with just a single layer, you can always go for another one. Basically, the color of your lips depends on how much product you apply. Still, at the end of the day it’s no lipstick. It’s just a tint, therefore, it only gives your lips a wash of color. I love the Cherry Tint because it made my lips look like I spent the whole day eating a strawberry popsicle. Same goes with the Orange tint, only Cherry has a mode intense, opaque color even on my cheeks. The Pinky tint, however, only made my lips like I applied a tinted lip balm. For me, it doesn’t really offer much in my lips in terms of color. By the way, I placed two layers of each color in my lips.
If you’re like me, who have dry and sometimes chappy lips, I suggest putting a lip balm prior to using this one. Even though these babies are not quite sticky, it can make your lips feel dry in just a matter of minutes. You can, of course apply either a lip balm or clear gloss afterwards so it wont feel as dry, but of course priming your lips with a lip balm always helps.
SHADES/COLOR INTENSITY – FACE – Did I tell you that I love the Cherry Tint? The Cherry Tint makes your face looks like you got out from somewhere cold, while Pinky & Orange Tint gives you that natural glow that we all try to emulate from time to time. As mentioned, these products are very buildable, you can intensify them whenever, however you want even on your cheeks. In this photo, I placed two layers of each tint.

LONGEVITY – All of these lip & cheek tints lasts on me pretty much more than four hours provided that I don’t eat and drink that much (lips). As for my cheeks, as long as I don’t sweat profusely as I normally do, these babies can stay put for the entire day, with minimal fading of course. All of them fade through time. Even though they have a good staying power, they still fade gradually, especially during this time of weather.
SCENT/TASTE – All of these tints smell according to their color. They all have their own fruity scents/tastes. I’m not really sure what Cherry Tint smells and tastes like but whenever I apply it on my lips it reminds me of a baby’s cough medicine (not the yucky one, ayt?!). The Pinky Tint has a hint of cherry both in smell and in taste, and of course the Orange Tint smells na taste like orange.
So to summarize, here are my thoughts about these babies..

I really love these lip and cheek tints. They’re perfect for this summer, especially when I feel like I’m in a freaking oven. At least I don’t need to put on so many coloretes in order to look tidy and presentable. Though they’re made of glass, they’re quite handy and efficient as well.
So those are my thoughts regarding these lip and cheek tints. I hope that you find it helpful if in case you’re thinking of buying some Lioele products. I love them to bits and I consider them a summer essential as well.
How about you? What do you consider a summer essential? Are you fond of lip and/or cheek tints? Let me know!
