I’m sure many of you guys know that this is like my favorite BB Cream. This has a very light consistency that when it settles, it feels like you have nothing on. Compared to other BB Creams, especially the ones from Korea, this doesn’t have a dewy finish, nor does it feel a bit tacky. Instead, it mattifies your skin. It doesn’t offer much coverage if that’s what you’re after, but if you just want to basically cover up some redness and minor blemishes, this is your best bet. I have a review of this product, and it’s located here, but I feel like updating it, so I’ll let you know once I do.
However, if you’re not into this and would like a face product that offers more coverage/color, then there are two products that I am loving recently and they are the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (if you still would like to use foundation) and the Fairydrops BB Cream. I’ll do a review on these products soon. Pinkie promise
As mentioned the L’oreal BB Cream doesn’t offer much coverage, it doesn’t hide everything. However, if you’re good with the finish that the BB cream gave you, then you’re good to go. Lucky you. Although sometimes, I must admit, there are days where I’m pretty much satisfied with the BB cream alone. I skip this step and continue with the powder. However, I guess it really depends on your preferences, or again, in the outcome that you get from the BB Cream.
As for the concealer, I pretty much interchange my Revlon Photorady stick concealer and my Artdeco Camouflage concealer. But as for the Garnier Light BB Instant Fairness BB Eye Roll On, I always use that whenever I use my L’oreal BB Cream. It’s just something that I’ve gotten used to, I guess. They both have a very light formula, and Garnier BB Eye roll on is pretty good in covering dark circles as well.
This is like my HG setting powder ever since I tried and tested it myself. Before it was my Snoe Poudre Extraordinaire, but ever since I got my hands on this tiny jar, I feel like this wont do, I gotta get me a big one, soon! Lol. Know more about this product by clicking here.
Tried out other eyebrow kits, but I often go back to this. I also tried eyebrow pencils, but I guess I suck at drawing so much that even filling in my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil is such a pain, lol. Jk. Anyway, I haven’t had a eyebrow kit that replaced this so far. This is still my goto eyebrow kit.
Prior to this one, I was using either my ELF Eye primer or my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I have been using this one for weeks now and I am really liking it so far. For further information regarding this product, click here.
If I’m really not in the mood to pick the colors that I want, then this is my go to palette. It’s pigmented, it doesn’t crease, and it lasts all day. It’s very handy as well and the brushes are quite useful. What’s more is that using this palette is such a no brainer. Considering that all of the shades are pretty much labelled, you just need to use each shade accordingly.
But sometimes, if I’m too lazy, I just use a brown eyeliner to contour my crease and use a lighter color for my browbone.
When I want just to have just a natural eye look, this is what I use. I know that most people don’t often resort to brown eyeliners, but I like it because it can emphasize my eyes without being too bold. Of course, if I really want to make a statement, a well-sharpened black eyeliner will do the trick. As for the mascara, the Eye Of Horus Mascara gives my eye lashes the perfect natural look. It’s not really volumizing/lengthening, it just basically defines my lashes and that’s pretty much what I need when I don’t feel like looking all glammed up.
This was in my previous monthly favorites. As mentioned there, I love this because it pretty much gave my cheeks a natural glow. I no longer need to use a bronzer or a highlighter.
Oftentimes I resort to my Revlon lip butters, but ever since I got this, it never left my bag. I may use a different lip product when I leave, but when I touch up, this is what I use. The shade of this lip butter stays on for more than six hours its amazing. Its better than the Revlon Kissable Balm stains, trust me
Those are the products that I am currently using these days, I just thought I’d share. How about you guys? What’s your goto summer makeup essentials? Let me know!
