Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation – Photos, Swatches & Review
Product claims according to the Revlon website:
Makeup so refreshingly light, it melts right in, creating a fresh even look. So the only one that knows you are wearing makeup is you. Blends seamlessly, buildable coverage.
First let’s start with the packaging. Typical to Revlon foundations, this one doesn’t come with a pump as well which is kinda irksome because the product is quite liquidy. It would be nice to have some control on how much you would like to get from the bottle. On the other hand, presentation wise, I like that the product comes with a white cap, it makes the foundation look like a mid-range brand/high-end brand.

With regard to application, I’ve never used anything else aside from my beauty blender and this foundation blends like a dream. It gives my face a dewy finish without being too shiny. It has a very lightweight formula, with SPF 20, really ideal during summertime.
As for coverage, being named ‘Nearly Naked’ one could expect that it has a sheer to light coverage, but I would say that it is quite buildable. I prefer to have just one layer and cover up some minor blemishes with concealer, but for me, I consider it to have up to a medium coverage.
Now with regard to its longevity, this product lasted me approximately eight hours upon application, with minimal fading especially in my nose (being such a huge sneezeball) and near my forehead. (because it’s so damn hot!) I did not apply a primer before applying this product, however, I did set it with my trusty Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder. I also have a dry skin and I didn’t notice it clinging at/highlighting the driest part of my face, which is at my nose area.
In terms of shade selection, I doubt if you will encounter any problems with the foundation itself, since I believe they offer it in 16 shades. Here in our country, however, is a different story. The product, as of this moment is only available online. (if what the Revlon SA told me is correct, it will be available here in May) I bought mine at Bon Marche for PhP 500 and I’m very lucky that I got my correct shade at first try. Though I’m thinking of getting a lighter shade for when I’m no longer sunburned, lol.
I really don’t have any bad things to say about this product, except the pump maybe, and perhaps the weird smell that comes with it. I cannot describe it, since I’m not really good with scents, but it doesn’t really bother me, and it’s not really overpowering. It’s just something that I guess is pretty common with Revlon foundations, or any foundation for that matter.
So, let’s gather up our thoughts about this product, shall we?
| Nice sturdy (mid-range looking) packaging
Blends really well

Has a lightweight formula ideal for summer
Evens out skin tone
Light to medium coverage
With SPF 20
Covers minor blemishes/flaws
Doesn’t highlight/cling on to dry areas
Lasts up to approximately 8 hours with minimal fading (on a really hot/humid climate like ours)
Not available here in our country – yet (Available in local resellers)
Doesn’t have a PUMP! Come on Revlon!
Has a weird smell
As mentioned, I really cannot say anything bad about this product, I love it and now that it’s really friggin hot here in our country, this and my L’oreal Lucent Magique Skin Illuminating BB Cream are my often goto face products. I’m not into the whole “dewy” thing, but this changed my entire perspective, and who knows, this might make me jump to the bandwagon someday? Lol.
As I mentioned earlier, I’m thinking about getting a lighter shade
So those are my thoughts about the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. I hope you find this review helpful in case you’re contemplating on whether to buy this product. I suggest you go for it! Kidding, I don’t want to push you into buying things you’re not sure of. Anyway, as for me, I’m totally head over heels in this foundation. I finally found a face product that wont make my dry skin stick out like crazy.
How about you? What’s your fave foundation? Do you have this foundation? Do you like it? Let me know!
