MeMeMe Flawless Face Collection
But then I saw Say’s product review & demo of MeMeMe Flawless Face Foundation & Loose Powder, it got me wondering… why not try another brand? Hmm… I’ve always been intrigued or rather interested in MeMeMe cosmetics. I believe that they are like Benefit Cosmetics, only that they are more affordable, without sacrificing the quality. I’ve always wanted to order these items at Make Up Hub. However, my shade, (what I thought was my shade) “Beige Blush”, is often out of stock. That’s why I thought it’d be best to just purchase these at the Phil-Cosmetics Expo. Then when I saw this photo from Make Up Hub‘s FB page, I know that I just had to buy this product. I had to try it.
Upon arriving at the MUH booth, I was already looking for the said collection. At first I thought the price was a bit steep (PhP 2,300.00). But the owner, Sarah, told me that it’s actually a good deal considering that the facebase/primer itself costs PhP 1,100+. I was going to settle for an individual foundation and a translucent loose powder instead, but unfortunately, the loose powder was already out of stock. Further, with that purchase alone, I’ll already be paying PhP 1.349.00, and I still don’t have the facebase, and the concealer. That’s when I decided to get the Flawless Face collection instead. And she was right, it’s such a great deal.
MeMeMe Flawless Face Collection in Porcelain
The owner of MUHByNC, Sarah was very nice and accommodating. Since I’m new at choosing shades for my foundation, she swatched a few shades in my jawline and she helped me decide a more appropriate shade for me, which apparently was Porcelain (I really thought it was Beige Blush, lol).

I never really thought that I’d buy another primer because the ELF Mineralized Face Primer was good enough for me. But since this was already included in the collection, I thought it’d be better to try. Besides, it’s already a two in one product; no need for me to use a moisturizer separately.
What I really love about this product is the scent. It smells very fruity but not too overpowering. As it says on their website, the product is “Lightly scented with a zest of lemon, orange, lime and mandarin…”. It can also be worn alone, but due to the price, I really prefer to wear this as a facebase and also use this on special occasion, or whenever I need my makeup to stay in tact for more than a couple of hours. It’s also very lightweight, and a little of this product goes a long way. I only put small dots of this product in my forehead, cheeks, nose and in my chin, and then I just spread it all over using the rest of my fingers and then that’s it. It’s very economical.
I really am impressed with this foundation. It’s very lightweight, pretty much like a BB cream, only that it provides a better coverage (I only applied only a single layer using my Sigma F80) and it evened out my skin tone, covered all of my red spots, and I only needed a concealer for some bumps that I have in my forehead and also in my T-zone area. It has a mild powdery scent, but like the facebase, it’s also not too overpowering. It provides a satin finish and its very long lasting. I applied it with my facebase at approximately 2PM and I removed it nearly at 1AM (I’m not exaggerating, trust me) and the coverage as well as the color was still there. With this foundation, you don’t need to put on a lot of concealer, just use spread it out evenly and you’re good to go!
I usually prefer applying these types of concealer under my eyes to hide my dark circles, because they are much lighter than my foundation and also they can serve as my highlighter as well. This concealer is very lightweight, long-lasting and also smells the same as the Flawless foundation that it comes with. I was thinking of repurchasing my Maybelline Angelfit Perfect Concealer because mine’s almost empty, but this one’s much better.
I’m not really fond of using a finishing powder in order to mattify my skin because I already use a setting powder after I apply my foundation, so this is kinda new for me. But after using this, I noticed that it really does mattify my skin, it eliminates the dewyness which I’m not really fond of, and it really does provide a flawless soft-focus effect finish in my makeup.
When I first used this for my loose powder, what I immediately noticed was that the bristles are really soft, and it’s actually pretty dense. But, just yesterday, when I had to deep clean my brushes, I noticed that this brush sheds way more bristles than my ELF professional brushes (those who own ELF professional brushes may know that these brushes also shed a ton of hair every time you clean ’em), and every time I had to wipe the brush so that I can fully get rid of the cleaning materials that I used, the shedding just wont stop. I don’t think I’ll be deep cleaning this anytime soon. I’ll just be using my James Cooper brush cleaner to clean this one instead. Just so I can retain its usual form & density.
Btw, forgive the picture, I just cleaned the brush when I took that picture so as you can see it’s kinda stiff, but if you wanna see how it really looks like, you can go to their website. Trust me, it’s just the same
All in all, the product is such a big hit for me. I love everything that’s in it, and I don’t regret buying it. Again, the price may be a little steep, but if you buy all of these items individually, then you’ll be spending more or less PhP 3,000 depending on where you purchase it. The only thing that kinda disappointed me (well not really, but compared to all of the big hits that this product has achieved in my book) was the loose powder brush. I wish that they made it a bit sturdier. I love the detail on the handle though, but even now, while I’m evaluating the brush for my final review, I noticed that the brush is still shedding a few bristles, which is really sayang. But with regard to the facebase, foundation, concealer and the loose powder, I love all of them, I have no regrets purchasing this collection, and I definitely would repurchase these items, or this collection, if needed.
Here are the product swatches from the said collection. Just in case.
Thanks for stopping by every one! Oh, and there’ll be another makeup review coming soon!
